Mid-Level Snowflake Data Engineer

NOTE:

Overview:

Seeking a mid‑level Snowflake Data Engineer with Power BI expertise to join a growing data and analytics team. Ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, thinking beyond SQL, and helping shape how data solutions are designed and used across the business.

Position:

• Design, build, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Structure and model data in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business use cases and recommend the right data approach
• Provide guidance and direction to a team that is still growing
• Proactively suggest improvements, tools, and solution designs; not just write SQL
• Support cloud‑based data environments, primarily in Azure
• Evaluate and enhance existing Snowflake implementations

Experience / Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics
• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake
• Strong experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Solid SQL skills, with the ability to think beyond query writing
• Experience working in an Azure cloud environment
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Experience guiding less technical teams

Desired Experience:

• Designing scalable data models in Snowflake
• Advising teams on analytics or data platform best practices
• Exposure to broader cloud or modern data stack tools

Pay: From $55.00 per hour
