Mid-Level WordPress Developer

WebNike is looking for a skilled and creative Mid-Level WordPress Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can handle both front-end design and back-end WordPress development, and is comfortable working on custom, high-performance websites for international clients.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for building and managing custom WordPress websites, including theme customization, plugin customization, and WooCommerce solutions. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, creative, and capable of working under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch
• Customize existing themes and plugins using PHP and JavaScript
• Build fully responsive, high-performance websites
• Work on WooCommerce stores with advanced functionality
• Create and maintain clean, reusable, and scalable code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize website performance
• Collaborate with the team on UI/UX improvements and project delivery
• Handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong command of:
• HTML5, CSS3, Boostrap
• JavaScript / jQuery
• PHP (WordPress development)
• Solid experience in:
• Custom WordPress theme development
• Plugin customization & development
• Advanced knowledge of WooCommerce (must-have)
• Good understanding of MySQL database handling
• Experience with Bootstrap or modern UI frameworks
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Basic understanding of SEO in WordPress (on-page setup, performance, structure)
