We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mid-Level WordPress Developer with strong development capabilities and basic DevOps understanding to support smooth website operations. The ideal candidate will manage WordPress development tasks, handle light server-related responsibilities, and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesWordPress Development

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Optimize website performance (speed, security, SEO best practices).
• Ensure responsive, user-friendly front-end experiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues efficiently.
• Collaborate on integrating third-party APIs and custom functionalities.

Light DevOps & Website Operations

• Handle basic server tasks such as domain setup, SSL installation, and hosting configuration.
• Assist with simple deployment processes (e.g., Git-based uploads, staging-to-live pushes).
• Monitor website uptime and ensure basic security checks.
• Perform routine backups and help maintain stable hosting environments.
• Coordinate with hosting providers for support or escalations when needed.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with designers, marketing teams, and project managers.
• Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in project planning, task estimation, and team discussions.
• Prepare clear documentation for development and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Basic understanding of web hosting, cPanel, and simple deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of website security fundamentals.
• Exposure to staging environments and migration tools (e.g., WP Migrate, Duplicator).
• Experience working in Agile or collaborative team environments.
• Knowledge of website performance testing tools (optional).
