Mid-to-Senior Designer — Presentations & Visual Communication

SAM-LAB is a design and writing agency serving leading social media, technology, and professional services companies. We’re seeking a mid-level or senior-level designer focused on creating high-end presentations and visual assets for executive and enterprise audiences. While presentations will be the primary focus, this role extends into broader visual communication—illustration, layout, and storytelling across multiple formats.

The RolePresentation Design (Primary Focus)

• Design executive-level presentations used in sales, strategy, and thought leadership contexts
• Develop clear visual narratives from complex, information-dense content
• Deliver final assets primarily in Google Slides, PowerPoint and Keynote, with supporting assets created in tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Figma
• Occasionally provide onsite or live support for executive presenters

Additional Design Work

• Contribute to other deliverables based on project needs and individual strengths, including:
• Digital and print layouts
• Infographics and data visualization
• Social and campaign assets
• Motion or video graphics

Design Collaboration & Oversight

• Act as a contributor with visual authority on client accounts
• Collaborate closely with creative directors and project leads to interpret briefs and refine direction
• Help set up projects for efficient execution, including defining visual approaches and production-ready structures
• Develop deep familiarity with client brands, messaging, and standards

Travel & Event Support

• Occasional travel may be required to support client events, executive presentations, or conferences
• Travel is typically short-term and project-based, and will be coordinated in advance

How We Work

This is a full-time, remote position. You’ll collaborate daily with a distributed team of designers, writers, and creative leads. The role requires strong independence, organization, and communication skills, balanced with a collaborative mindset. Work is reviewed in partnership with in-house creative directors.

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Strong design fundamentals with a focus on visual communication and clarity
• Demonstrated experience using Google Slides, PowerPoint and Keynote as professional design tools
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma
• Ability to work quickly and effectively under tight deadlines
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment with team communication through chat, email, and conference calls
• Ability to adapt to multiple brand systems and visual styles
• Consistent application of best design practices (typography, layout, color, hierarchy)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Fluent written and spoken English, with proofreading ability
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Comfort handling client communications directly

Nice-to-Have Experience

• B2B or enterprise marketing design experience
• Prior work with technology, consulting, or professional services clients
• Motion design, animation, video, or web/UI experience
• Project management or communications background
