Middle School Art Teacher (Full-time)

We are looking for a passionate, creative art teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to blend creativity and technology in our middle school art program. Paly Bay has a team of educators who are supportive, caring, and amazing colleagues. Apply to join our team!

Duties include:

• Teaching grades 6–8 visual arts
• Designing lessons in:
• Drawing
• Painting
• Mixed media
• Graphic design
• Digital illustration
• Animation basics
• Using digital tools such as:
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Canva
• Google Classroom
• Smart Boards
• Integrating art with STEAM or interdisciplinary projects
• Managing student portfolios (physical + digital)
• Organizing exhibitions, showcases, or art shows
• Supporting creativity, self-expression, and design thinking
• Collaborating with special education staff and core subject teachers
• Communicating regularly with families

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree, or higher, an Art Teaching Certification in the State of Florida; prior experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
