Middle School History Teacher

Pathway Schools, a unique soccer specialized private school that combines education with students’ passion for sports, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team. As a high school teacher at Pathway Schools, you will have the opportunity to work with student athletes in grades 6-8th, fostering their academic growth while supporting their athletic pursuits. We are looking for individuals who can maintain accountability, build strong relationships with students, and contribute to our family-oriented staff environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Experience working with high school students and athletes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the high school History curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and engagement.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one support and tutoring to students who may need additional assistance in History concepts.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and assignments, and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources for improving student outcomes.
- Stay current on educational trends and best practices in History instruction to continuously enhance teaching strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
