Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative instructional strategies and learning technology tools.
- Create engaging classroom environments that promote active participation, collaboration, and curiosity about mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, standardized tests, and project-based evaluations; provide timely feedback to support growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and school-wide initiatives to enhance educational outcomes.
- Offer tutoring and mentoring support to students needing additional help or enrichment in math
- Excited and willing to also teach some elective offerings, serve in leadership and be part of the strong mission and vision of the school
- Anchored in the Christian faith to be able to teach from a solid, Christian worldview with personal involvement in a local, Christian church.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Proven classroom management skills with experience teaching middle school students in diverse settings.
- Strong knowledge of math disciplines
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and the integration of learning technology into lessons.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students and collaborate effectively with staff and parents.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
