Position Title: Middle School Math Teacher (W2)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Annual Salary: $63,500 – $72,000+ Benefits

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth, critical thinking, and a love for learning. This role requires a commitment to student success, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive classroom culture where all students feel welcomed, supported, and valued.
  • Build strong relationships with students and families to support both academic and social-emotional development.
  • Design and deliver rigorous, student-centered instruction in alignment with the school’s curriculum and philosophy.
  • Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those receiving special education services, multilingual learners, students requiring interventions, and those who are accelerated.
  • Facilitate whole group, small group, and individual instruction in an engaging and motivating manner.
  • Assess and analyze student progress to inform instructional decisions and develop targeted interventions.
  • Promote and uphold the school’s core values to ensure a positive, caring, and safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), coaching sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional practices and achieve student success.

Qualifications

  • Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or Certificate of Eligibility (CE/CEAS) – required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of teaching experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Self-reflective, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated resilience and dedication to achieving excellence in the face of challenges
