Position Title: Middle School Math Teacher (W2)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Annual Salary: $63,500 – $72,000+ Benefits

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth, critical thinking, and a love for learning. This role requires a commitment to student success, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities

Foster a positive classroom culture where all students feel welcomed, supported, and valued.
Build strong relationships with students and families to support both academic and social-emotional development.
Design and deliver rigorous, student-centered instruction in alignment with the school’s curriculum and philosophy.
Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those receiving special education services, multilingual learners, students requiring interventions, and those who are accelerated.
Facilitate whole group, small group, and individual instruction in an engaging and motivating manner.
Assess and analyze student progress to inform instructional decisions and develop targeted interventions.
Promote and uphold the school’s core values to ensure a positive, caring, and safe learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), coaching sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional practices and achieve student success.

Qualifications

Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or Certificate of Eligibility (CE/CEAS) – required
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of two years of teaching experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Self-reflective, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
Demonstrated resilience and dedication to achieving excellence in the face of challenges
