Middle School Math Tutor

We are looking for a tutor to support our middle and high school students through their online curriculum (Miacademy.) Teacher certification is not required; however, a background in middle-school Math is required, preferably through Geometry (10th grade.)

The main responsibilities are to help them through the program, answer their questions, monitor progress and communicate needs with parent and administration. There may be some individual tutoring times for candidates that have a degree in Math or can pass a state test.

Days of the week: Either Tuesdays and Thursdays OR Mondays and Wednesdays, whichever works for the tutor's schedule.

Pay may be more depending on tutor's experience and level of expertise.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• tutoring or teaching: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Florida Teaching Certificate (Preferred)
