We are seeking a dynamic and solid Middle School Mathematics Teacher to inspire and engage students in grades 7 and 8. - Utilize, develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating instructional design principles and technology tools to enhance student understanding of math concepts such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, differential equations, and molecular biology.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning, critical thinking, and collaboration among students.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and personalized tutoring sessions.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide mentorship and academic advising to support students’ individual needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or Montessori-based approaches.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and research initiatives to continually improve teaching practices.
- Utilize learning technology platforms for lesson planning, student assessment, and communication with students and parents.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
- Proven classroom experience as a middle school teacher or in a similar educational setting with a focus on mathematics instruction.
- Experience working with diverse learners .
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and instructional strategies for test preparation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective instruction and mentoring of students as well as collaboration with colleagues.

Pay: $47,550.00 - $68,000.00 per year
