What We’re Looking For in a Highly Qualified Candidate:
Reading Lab Teacher
-
Deep understanding of reading and writing instruction aligned with grade-level standards
-
Ability to foster a love of literature while building foundational literacy and analytical skills
-
Strong use of data to drive instruction and close reading gaps
-
Experience with differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs
Mathematics Teacher

Strong content knowledge in middle school mathematics, including pre-algebra and algebra concepts

Ability to make math engaging and relevant through real-world applications and inquiry-based learning

Consistent use of formative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction

Skilled in building math confidence and persistence in all learners

Strong classroom management and an ability to create a safe space for math risk-taking
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field

Valid Michigan teaching certification or the ability to obtain one

Previous classroom experience at the middle school level strongly preferred

Demonstrated commitment to student achievement, equity, and growth

Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Salary Range:
Starting pay 50,000.00 (
negotiable)
Pay increases based on experience.
