Middle School Reading tutor (9 am - 2 pm)

Job DescriptionJump Start Tutoring is seeking dedicated and passionate Reading and Math Tutors to work one-on-one and in small groups with elementary and middle school students at schools in South and Central Miami Dade during regular school hours.

Position Details

• In-school tutoring during school hours
• Work one-on-one and in small groups
• Subjects: Reading and Math
• Grade levels: Elementary and Middle School
• 5 hours of tutoring per day
• Position runs through the end of the school year

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
• Teacher certification is a plus
• Retired teachers are encouraged to apply
• Must be able to pass a school district background check

Compensation

• $25 – $28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
