Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School ScienceTeacher (Grades 5-8) to join our team at DGK Parochial School. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that promotes student success and encourages academic growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
• Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences.
• Foster a love of science
• Responsible for science curriculum in grades 5-8
• Responsible for school's annual science fair
• Collaborate with other educators to support student learning and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of content area
• Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Familiarity with learning technologies and innovative teaching methods.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
