Middle School Social Teacher (VI-VIII)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher to teach students in middle school (Classes 6 to 8) under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should be committed to nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and social awareness in students, while delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Social Science lessons in line with CBSE guidelines.
• Prepare students for Formative and Summative Assessments.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies, including the use of technology, AV aids, and group projects.
• Create lesson plans, unit plans, and yearly academic calendars.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and assessment data.
• Foster classroom discipline, empathy, and respect among students.
• Conduct remedial sessions, if required.
• Organize or support co-curricular activities, exhibitions, and field trips relevant to Social Science topics.
• Communicate regularly with parents via PTMs, calls, or school platforms.
• Collaborate with other subject teachers and participate in school events, workshops, and training programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related fields.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory for CBSE compliance.
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level in a CBSE school.
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in using smart boards, Microsoft Office, Google Classroom, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
