Responsibilities

• Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress.
• Provide individualized tutoring and mentoring to support diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and educational initiatives.
• Utilize effective communication skills for public speaking during presentations or parent-teacher meetings.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices.
• Participate in school activities such as sports coaching or academic advising as needed.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with classroom experience.
• Familiarity with various teaching methodologies, including Montessori and special education approaches.
• Strong writing skills for proofreading and copy editing educational materials.
• Experience in education administration or library services is a plus.
• A background in creative writing is beneficial for enhancing literacy education.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development principles is essential.

Pay: $42,278.41 - $54,528.84 per year
