Middle School Teachers (certificate not required) – 2026–2027 School Year

Tutor Zone is seeking passionate and dedicated Middle School Teachers to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. We are currently hiring for the following middle school positions:

• 1 Sixth Grade Teacher
• 1 Combined 7th & 8th Grade Teacher

Tutor Zone is a homeschool-based micro school that provides a warm, supportive environment with small class sizes and personalized instruction. Our goal is to help students grow academically while creating meaningful relationships and a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and support middle school students in daily academic instruction
• Guide students through assigned curriculum and coursework
• Provide additional support and practice on challenging concepts
• Maintain classroom structure, expectations, and positive student behavior
• Foster a respectful, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Keep classroom areas clean, organized, and prepared daily
• Communicate professionally with staff and parents as needed

Curriculum & Planning Support:

• No lesson planning required
• No grading required
• All curriculum, assignments, quizzes, and tests are provided
• No assignment creation necessary
• Student work is uploaded and managed through the curriculum platform

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Experience working with ESL students is a plus
• Positive, patient, and flexible attitude
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Teaching certification is not required, but is considered a plus
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred
