Middle School/High School English/Social Studies Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the online curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in students
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience

This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. Hiring will be finalized by May 15, 2026. Work hours: M-Th 8-4 and Friday 8:30-12:30. The program is 34 weeks giving more time off during the school year.

Experience:
- Teaching Certificate in FL teaching English/Social Studies at the middle or high school level.

-Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in teaching 6-12 English and Social Studies courses.
- Familiar with teaching engaging lessons while utilizing online curriculum and Christian Textbooks.
- Ability to effectively educate and inspire students
