Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle/High School Math Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education and a commitment to integrating Christian values into their teaching. This role involves developing and delivering engaging math curricula for high school students, promoting a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive math curricula for middle and high school students, aligning with state and national standards.
• Create engaging and hands-on learning experiences that foster a love for mathematics and critical thinking skills.
• Integrate Christian principles and perspectives into math instruction.

Student Assessment and Support:

• Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and assignments.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic and personal growth.
• Offer additional support and resources to students as needed, including tutoring and mentorship.

Classroom Management:

• Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and organized classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a safe and productive learning atmosphere.

Professional Development and Collaboration:

• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education and Christian teaching.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary lessons and school-wide initiatives.

Community Engagement:

• Foster relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider school community to support student success.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community service projects.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification for high school mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching math at the high school level.
• Strong knowledge of math curriculum and instructional methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Committed to the mission and values of Impact Christian Academy, with the ability to integrate faith into teaching practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 - $53,200.00 per year
