Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, and assisted living environments. The STNA will assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to all safety and health regulations.

Duties

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
• Help patients with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Assist in medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Support patients with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice care as needed

Skills

• Proficiency in Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or other EMR/EHR systems
• Experience in critical care, acute care, ICU, or emergency medicine settings
• Familiarity with long-term care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA regulations
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and catheter care when required
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs
• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on senior care and pediatrics
• Competence in basic life support (BLS) techniques and aseptic procedures
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and teamwork

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
