In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of our attractions and animal areas. Your mechanical aptitude and animal handling experience will ensure that all equipment runs smoothly and animals are well cared for, providing guests with memorable experiences. Duties

• Operate and maintain farm machinery, heavy equipment, and power tools to support attraction setups and daily operations
• Assist with animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, grooming, health monitoring, and handling various animals safely
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, structures, and animal enclosures; perform repairs or coordinate repairs using welding or hand tools as needed
• Manage irrigation systems, greenhouse environments, and horticultural tasks to ensure optimal growing conditions for plants and landscaping features
• Supervise other team members during shifts to ensure safety protocols are followed and tasks are completed efficiently
• Perform heavy lifting of materials or equipment safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, animal spaces, and public attractions to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff alike

Experience

• Supervising experience in a farm, zoo, amusement park, or similar setting preferred
• Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, heavy equipment operation, welding, and equipment repair required
• Hands-on animal husbandry experience with various species; animal care skills are essential
• Familiarity with farming practices including irrigation, greenhouse management, horticulture, and growing experience preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other farm machinery safely
• Basic math skills for measurements, inventory tracking, or calculations related to maintenance tasks
• Experience in agriculture or farming environments is highly desirable
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking required
