Job Description

The Midwest Regional Manager will oversee multiple operational centers across the Midwest, based in the Marysville, Ohio Regional Hub and leading satellite locations (Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas). This role ensures optimal fleet performance, driver satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and customer service across the region. The manager will lead local Station Managers and coordinate with Office Managers to maintain operational excellence and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Station Manager(s), Supervisors, and driver teams across multiple Midwest locations
  • Assign fleet and drivers, create run schedules, and ensure on-time pickup/delivery
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including hours of service, and ELD compliance
  • Ensure drivers have an adequate understanding of all SOP’s, and ensure SOP adherence
  • Oversee fleet maintenance to ensure maintenance is performed on the fleet on a timely basis
  • Maintain daily accounting of vehicles, drivers, and operational costs
  • Foster a positive work atmosphere and uphold company culture across sites
  • Communicate with customers to meet logistics needs, and resolve logistics and service issues (including after-hours support) to achieve optimum customer satisfaction
  • Communicate with associates in a manner that facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations
  • Collaborate with Office Manager(s) to ensure dispatch, paperwork, and clerical functions are aligned with operational goals
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to site-level staff; deliver performance feedback and coaching to ensure team alignment and growth promoting continuous improvement and accountability
  • Lead recruiting, hiring, and termination processes for drivers and site-level staff

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of transportation industry standards and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Familiarity with electronic logging systems and refrigerated trucking operations
  • Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced multi-site environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external staff, business partners, and clients
  • Intermediate computer skills required including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

Qualifications Summary of Experience and Education:

  • 5–10 years of fleet management experience, with multi-site oversight preferred (2-5 years CDL A/B driver experience a plus)
  • Prior experience as a Station Manager or similar leadership role
  • Refrigerated trucking experience strongly preferred

Salary: $70,000 to $90,000
