Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Welder for our client in Akron, Ohio . You will be responsible for various types of curbs-product assembly and final assembly operations to manufacture product to drawings, and specifications.This is a great opportunity to work with a leading company while building your long-term career.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand.

Ensure Thybar quality standards are met or exceeded.

Assembly equipment maintenance.

Continuous process improvement

Safety and housekeeping.

Requirements

Experienced MIG-welding 20

Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situatio-10-gauge sheet metal

Experienced with MIG-welding or documented welding training

Safety and Security- Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.

Attendance/Punctuality- Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.

Dependability- Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.

Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs & have steeled-toed shoes

Must pass a background check
