MIG Welder / Fabricator – Permanent

Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire (near Birmingham)

Salary: £15–£17.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established welding company in Droitwich.

You will be working with mild steel, steel, and aluminium — fabricating and welding components from drawings. TIG and ARC experience are beneficial but not essential.

What you'll be doing·

MIG welding on mild steel, steel, and aluminium

· Fabricating components from engineering drawings (measuring, cutting, assembling)

· Ensuring high-quality finishes and tolerances

What we're looking for

· 5–10 years of welding/fabrication experience

· Strong MIG welding skills

· Ability to fabricate (not just weld)

· Comfortable reading drawings

· Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in your work

· Based within commutable distance to Droitwich (Birmingham, Worcester, Redditch, Bromsgrove areas)

· TIG welding experience

· ARC (stick) welding experience

· Aluminium experience
