MIG Welder - Foundry - 1st and 2nd Shift

Kenosha Steel Castings is looking to hire MIG Welders IMMEDIATELY!

Welders are responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

- Repairs fully all defects marked by the Line Inspector as specified by procedures and oral instructions.

- Removes excess material on the steel castings.

- Operates related equipment including cranes, hoists, chains, slings, forklifts to position castings weighing up to 7,000 lbs.

- Perform work in various physical positions including standing on concrete, kneeling, bending and reaching 8-10 hours per day.

- Perform work in heavy industrial setting with exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise and fumes.

- Ability to wear the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required including hearing and eye protection, safety boots with metatarsal guards, welding helmet, gloves, apron, jacket and respirator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Willingness to train.

- Work additional hours when needed.

- Regular and reliable attendance.

- Follows written and oral work instructions.

- Welding experience REQUIRED

SHIFT INFORMATION:

- Monday through Friday

- 7:00am to 3:30pm (1st shift) & 4:00pm - 12:30am (2nd shift)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
