Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding processes, particularly in MIG. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring quality and precision in every task. The MIG Welder will work with various materials, including sheet metal and ductwork, while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to project specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures, including ductwork and piping systems.
• Utilize plasma cutting techniques for precise cuts on metal materials.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
• Conduct pipe threading as necessary for assembly tasks.
• Operate tools such as micrometers to ensure accurate measurements during fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Experience working with sheet metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with plasma cutting equipment and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail for precise measurements using tools like micrometers.
• Capability to rig materials safely for welding processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
