Migration Officer
Job Summary
:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Migration Processing Officer with expertise in Australian immigration law and visa subclass categories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing visa applications, advising clients on migration pathways, and ensuring compliance with Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA) regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
• Provide expert advice and assistance to clients on all aspects of Australian immigration, including eligibility assessments and visa options.
• Handle end-to-end management of visa applications including preparation, submission, and follow-ups.
• Stay up to date with the latest changes in Australian immigration law, policy updates, and subclass requirements.
• Advise & Process Application for clients on visa subclass categories such as:
• Skilled Migration (Subclass 189, 190, 491)
• Employer Sponsored Visas (Subclass 482, 186)
• Family & Partner Visas (Subclass 820/801, 309/100, 300)
• Student & Graduate Visas (Subclass 500, 485)
• Visitor & Tourist Visas (Subclass 600, 601, 651)
• Business & Investor Visas (Subclass 188, 888)
• Resident Return Visa (Subclass 155, 157)
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with DHA standards.
• Support client appeals and review processes if visa applications are refused.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and timely communication.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Australian immigration processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian visa subclasses, eligibility, and processing timelines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple cases.
*Preferred Skills:*
• Experience with CRM or visa management systems (e.g., ImmiAccount, Migration Manager).
• Fluency in a second language is a plus.
• Prior work experience with Australian law firms or migration agencies is advantageous.
