MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator and CNC Machinists

Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for precision welding and fabrication tasks, contributing to the production of high-quality metal components. Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, including sheet metal and fabricated components
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete fabrication tasks accurately
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise assembly
• Assist in the fabrication process by cutting, shaping, and fitting metal parts as required
• Conduct quality checks on welds and finished products to meet industry standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve production efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures
• Proficiency in MIG welding and general fabrication processes
• Knowledge of handling hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment effectively
• Mechanical knowledge related to metalworking, sheet metal fabrication, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Familiarity with the use of welding masks, gloves, and other personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Previous experience working with various materials such as steel or aluminium is desirable
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
