Mill Services Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Mill Services Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our milling facilities. This leadership role requires a strong background in manufacturing, heavy equipment operation, and related technical skills. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient mill performance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement in production processes. Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of mill services, including equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.
• Supervise staff involved in machinery operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Oversee the operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts, tankers, and other industrial machinery to ensure smooth workflow.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards across all operations.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize food processing and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues early and coordinate repairs or upgrades.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to maintenance activities, safety incidents, and operational reports.
• Lead initiatives for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased productivity within the mill.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on food production or agricultural processing.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation, machinery maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience operating forklifts, tankers, or other heavy equipment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with food processing standards, farming practices, or agriculture-related operations is a plus.
• Ability to operate industrial machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety regulations.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a safety-conscious work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintenance scheduling and documentation.
• Prior experience in managing operations involving heavy equipment operation or manufacturing processes is required. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of our milling operations while promoting safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $102,000.00 per year
