Responsibilities:

Set up and operate 3 and 5 axis milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications - Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents - Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications using a variety of measurement tools - Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree, military training or certification in machining preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience set up and operating 3 to 4 axis milling machines
- Experience with tight tolerances and precision parts 0.025 micron (0.001in) and smaller
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with metrology equipment and measuring tools
- Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Desired Experience
Preferred Skill
- 5 axis milling experience preferred
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Tool Grinding
- Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs and Keyence LM/IM
- Experience with NPI and CPI
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing and working with machinery
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Careers
