Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and production equipment
Align motors, pumps, and gearboxes using precision measurement tools
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and equipment issues to minimize downtime
Replace bearings, belts, shafts, and other mechanical components
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment
Assist with installation, alignment, and startup of new machinery
Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper operation
Work collaboratively with electricians and maintenance teams on equipment repairs
Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards
Industrial machinery installation and alignment
Preventative and predictive maintenance techniques
Blueprint and schematic reading
Welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding preferred)
Hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting
Conveyor systems, gearboxes, and rotating equipment maintenance
Bearing replacement and shaft alignment
Rigging and equipment moving
Use of precision measurement tools (dial indicators, micrometers, calipers)
Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and OSHA safety practices
3–5 years of industrial maintenance, millwright, or mechanical technician experience preferred
