Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment. The Millwright will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and systems, contributing to the overall productivity of our facility.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate alignment and installation of machinery.
- Work with both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems as needed.
- Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant findings or concerns.
Skills
- Proficiency in HVAC/R systems is a plus, enhancing the ability to maintain climate control equipment.
- Strong technical sales skills may be beneficial for understanding customer needs and providing solutions.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, including familiarity with various types of machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for effective troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, both low voltage and high voltage, is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments during installation or repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
