Millwright/ Industrial Mechanic

Virginia Riggers, Inc. (VRI), an industrial contractor established in 1994, is looking for experienced Millwrights and Mechanics. Based in Winchester, VA, VRI is a VOSB; family owned and operated, and we see our employees and customers as an extension of our family.

MILLWRIGHT / INDUSTRIAL MECHANICS QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 – 5 years’ experience industrial equipment installations and maintenance operations.
• Conveyor installations: pallet, case, and table top.
• Experience with copper piping, air lines and duct work.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Various machine assembly operations.
• Leveling and Alignment of equipment.
• Troubleshooting skills for equipment operation problems.
• Candidate must have experience and be proficient with the operation of forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
• Ability to read blueprints, perform layout, and comprehend installation requirements.
• Operate, maintain, and work with various power equipment, including, but not limited to; various drills, saws, hoists, jacks, hydraulic tools, and industrial tools.
• Perform job tasks safely with safety being a priority.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be comfortable working in small spaces and heights.
• Must pass a drug-test.
