Millwright Technician

Location : Ras Laffan

Duration : 5 months & extendable

Working hrs : 10hrs/day & 6days/week

Skills / the knowledge we are seeking :

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in pump and motor shaft alignment
• Proficiency in performing alignment using the reverse dial indicator method
• Ability to interpret dial readings and calculate offset and angular misalignment accurately
• Experience alignment procedures, including consideration of thermal growth
• Familiarity with alignment tolerances as per industry standards
• Capability to identify and correct soft foot conditions
• Understanding of different coupling types and their impact on alignment
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as dial indicators, vernier calipers, micrometers, and feeler gauges
• Good understanding of safety procedures and best practices during rotating equipment maintenance
• Candidates should be in freelance visa with valid QID
