Millwright/Welding/Pipefitting

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and be adept at maintaining and repairing machinery within a manufacturing facility. This role requires a keen understanding of mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Millwright will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our equipment and systems.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
• Work with hydraulic systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations.
• Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on machinery performance and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or similar role within a manufacturing facility.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics and mechanical systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Experience with CMMS software is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies related to millwright duties.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
