Minecraft Instructor

Job Overview:

Playful Digital Learning is seeking enthusiastic part-time instructors who are skilled in Minecraft (Survival and/or Creative Mode) and passionate about working with children. This position begins as a Teacher Aide role supporting experienced educators, with opportunities to lead classes independently over time.

During school breaks, we offer full-day camps at schools within the Gilbert School District, providing additional work opportunities. Following the break camps, teaching positions will also be available in schools across the Kyrene and Gilbert School Districts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and lead Minecraft-based classes
• Engage and manage students during in-person and online sessions
• Support students in completing creative, project-based learning activities
• Collaborate with the instructional team to enhance the student learning experience
• Foster a positive, safe, and encouraging classroom environment

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Minecraft
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children
• Familiarity with video games and technology
• Patience and professionalism when working with children ages 6 and older
• Motivated, responsible, and dependable
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Video editing skills (preferred for additional work opportunities)
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience (appreciated but not required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.70 - $16.00 per hour
