Mini-Split HVAC Technician / Installer (Ductless Specialist)

EHC Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Mini-Split HVAC Technician / Installer to join our growing team.

We are a fast-moving company focused on high-quality ductless mini-split installations, diagnostics, and service. Our goal is to build a team of technicians who specialize in this equipment — delivering clean installs, accurate troubleshooting, and high-performance systems.

This is not a general HVAC position. We are looking for someone who understands mini-split systems inside and out — including troubleshooting and diagnostics, not just installation — and takes pride in doing clean, professional work.

Responsibilities

• Install and service ductless mini-split systems (Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Hisense, Bosch, LG, Panasonic, Samsung)
• Perform multi-zone system installations and layouts
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mini-split systems (REQUIRED)
• Complete system startups, testing, and commissioning
• Perform mini-split cleanings and preventative maintenance
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
• Communicate clearly with customers and document completed work

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of HVAC field experience
• Strong hands-on experience with mini-split installation AND troubleshooting (REQUIRED)
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve system issues independently
• Solid understanding of heat pump system operation
• EPA Certification (required)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Technicians are expected to properly document jobs, notes, and photos in ServiceTitan daily.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-end, detail-oriented installations
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan
• Manufacturer training or certifications (Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Bosch, LG, etc.)
• Sheet Metal License (a plus)

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
