Mining Equipment Hydraulic Mechanic (1 year Schematics Exp Req)

Metalcraft Mining Equipment is searching for:

Title: Hydraulic Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mining Equipment Hydraulic Mechanic

• Have an understanding of hydraulic equipment and systems specific to mining equipment
• Be able to diagnose and trouble shoot hydraulic problems with mining equipment
• Be to completely assemble hydraulic components and their respective hoses to a mining machine

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams and technical manuals
• Requisition from parts books all necessary hydraulic parts
• Replace and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, and hoses
• Troubleshoot problems on hydraulic systems
• Set working pressures on hydraulic circuits
• Document all work completed and provide reports to management
• Recommend to management for improvements in hydraulic system performance

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training in hydraulics systems on mining equipment or related field
• Proven experience as a hydraulic technician
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic components and systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
