Mixologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and personable Mixologist to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will craft innovative and classic cocktails, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a passion for the food and beverage industry, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. The Mixologist will play a key role in enhancing guest experiences through expert drink preparation and outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages with precision and creativity
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and presentation standards
• Ensure all drinks are prepared according to safety and food handling regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management
• Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub service as required
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and identify signs of intoxication

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience serving in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math, and measuring ingredients
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospitality setting
• Familiarity with food industry standards related to beverage service, brewing, catering, and food safety regulations
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests
