Job Title: Quality Coordinator, MMPK
Department: Quality
Reports To: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
The Quality Coordinator, reporting to the Operations Manager, ensures products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements within an IATF 16949-certified manufacturing environment. This role drives continuous improvement and defect prevention by leading root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and maintaining quality management system compliance. Working cross-functionally, the Quality Engineer monitors process performance, manages nonconforming materials, and applies core quality tools such as PFMEA, control plans, SPC, and PPAP. The position also supports audits, customer and supplier quality activities, and fosters a culture of operational excellence and consistent product quality.
No direct oversight of local personnel but may lead initiatives and be assigned as mentor to quality technician.
Associates' degree (AA) and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), ERP software.
