Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Mobile and Web Game Tester with 2–3 years of experience in QA testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of game functionality, mobile platforms (iOS/Android), web technologies, and testing methodologies. You will be responsible for identifying, reporting, and tracking defects, ensuring a high-quality gaming experience for end users.

Key Responsibilities

Execute functional, regression, compatibility, performance, and usability testing for mobile and web-based games.

Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

Identify, log, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis).

Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to reproduce issues and ensure timely resolution.

Perform cross-platform testing across devices (iOS, Android, various browsers, and OS versions).

Verify compliance with UI/UX guidelines and platform-specific requirements (App Store/Google Play).

Conduct smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues.

Provide feedback on game playability, performance, and overall user experience.

Ensure timely delivery of test results and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2–3 years of hands-on experience in game testing (mobile & web) .

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

Experience with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).

Good understanding of mobile platforms (iOS & Android) and web browsers.

Ability to test across multiple devices, resolutions, and network conditions.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Excellent communication skills to document and convey findings effectively.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Exposure to automation testing tools (Appium, Selenium, etc.).

Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript).

Experience in performance testing for games.

Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Passion for gaming and understanding of different game genres.
