Mobile App Developer

IT Globe is seeking an experienced and passionate Mobile App Developer with a specialization in Android to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a creative problem-solver who can develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Android ecosystem and a proven track record of bringing successful apps to the Google Play Store.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of professional experience in Android app development.
• Proven experience with live applications published on the Google Play Store.
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Experience with version control tools, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a product-based company.
• Knowledge of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.

Location: Johar town, Lahore

Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lahore Johar Town: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mobile App Development: 2 years (Preferred)
• Product base company: 1 year (Preferred)
