Mobile Crisis Specialist, Crisis Counselor

Are you passionate about having a direct impact on the lives of people who are experiencing a crisis? Consider this unique position! You will be on-call evenings/overnights two times per week on a rotating schedule, largely from the comfort of home. Your other two shifts are daytime on-call shifts to comprise a 4-day workweek. Weekend on-call is part of your rotating schedule as well. After receiving a call about a child or adult who is in a mental health crisis, you'll respond to the site of the crisis in a 5-county area to conduct a screening. Our Mobile Crisis Specialists also provide short-term follow-up stabilization and care coordination services.

This is a full-time, exempt position with a minimum of 35 hours/week while paid for 40 hours/week. It's the perfect position for a 'night owl' who enjoys helping people problem-solve and enjoys having frequent days off!

Applicants must have:

• BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other Human Services field
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a good driving record
• Ability to pass fingerprint background checks and drug test
