Mobile Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a Mobile Engineer specializing in .NET MAUI to design, develop, and support high-quality cross-platform mobile applications. This role focuses primarily on new mobile application development (approximately 90%), with the remaining effort dedicated to maintenance, bug fixes, and platform updates. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile experiences, performance, and delivering polished applications across iOS and Android.

Essential Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using the .NET MAUI framework
• Build responsive, mobile UI using XAML and implement application logic in C#
• Develop and maintain native Android applications
• Implement platform-specific features and integrations for iOS and Android
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and cloud services
• Optimize mobile application performance, reliability, and overall user experience
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and other engineers to deliver intuitive mobile solutions
• Conduct testing across multiple devices, screen sizes, and operating systems
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, performance issues, and platform inconsistencies
• Prepare, deploy, and maintain applications in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Perform ongoing maintenance, bug fixes, and updates to support new OS versions and platform changes
• Document mobile solutions through clear code comments, technical documentation, and user guides
• Stay current with .NET MAUI updates, mobile platform changes, and cross-platform development best practices
• Analyze mobile requirements and recommend scalable, maintainable technical solutions
• Deliver high-quality, reliable cross-platform mobile applications that meet business and user needs
• Contribute mobile development expertise to achieve project goals and improve overall engineering standards

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience developing cross-platform mobile applications.
• Five plus years of mobile software development

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in .NET MAUI for building multi-platform mobile applications
• Strong experience with C# and XAML for mobile application development
• Working knowledge of Java for native Android development
• Demonstrated expertise in cross-platform mobile development practices
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android platforms, frameworks, and lifecycle management
• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles
• Proficiency with Git version control workflows
• Experience preparing and deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfortable working effectively in a fast-paced environment
