Mobile Diesel Mechanic - Cummins diesel engines

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to support field service operations. This position will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and equipment at various job sites. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Cummins engines, works independently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Service and repair Cummins diesel engines (required)
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding repairs and timelines

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a mobile or field service role
• Strong experience working with Cummins engines (required)
• Ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and electrical systems
• Own tools required; service truck preferred (or provided, depending on setup)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in diesel technology or related field
• Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, equipment, or fleet vehicles
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools

Work Environment:

• Field-based role traveling to customer sites
• May require lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
