Mobile Diesel Technician

Overview
Due to rapid expansion, White Stone Fleet Services is seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience in various types of heavy equipment and automotive diagnostics. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, as well as perform routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles and machinery. In this role, you will be working independently with little supervision. You MUST be a self-starter! that has extensive customer interaction experience!

Duties

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related systems, including air brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, and suspension components.
• Conduct routine maintenance on farm machinery, excavators, cranes, tractor-trailers, and other heavy industrial equipment.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks.
• Interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engine repair and automotive diagnostics.
• DOT inspection and regulation knowledge is a must.
• Electronic diagnostic experience
• A/C- 609 and 608 certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with fabrication techniques is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required by the job.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• This is a mobile technician role so travel/driving is required.
• Clean Drivers license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
