Job Title: Mobile Home Restoration Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and versatile Mobile Home Restoration Technician to join Be Cool America in Lakeland, Florida. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role involving a wide variety of restoration, remodel, and repair work on mobile homes across Central Florida.

You will handle structural repairs (subfloor replacement, foundation work, and wind tie-downs), exterior work (siding, skirting, and panels), and interior finish work (drywall, trim, and general remodeling). Much of the work takes place in crawl spaces, attics, and other small or confined areas. We’re looking for someone who is a true jack of all trades — adaptable, comfortable working in tight spaces, and willing to take on whatever the job requires.

Key Duties

• Prepare job sites and protect homeowner property
• Perform structural repairs including subfloor replacement, foundation work, and wind tie-down installations
• Replace and repair siding, skirting, and exterior panels
• Complete general remodel and finish work such as framing, drywall, trim carpentry, caulking, and painting
• Work in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas while maintaining cleanliness and respect for the homeowner’s property
• Inspect completed work for quality and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate records of materials and job details
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Collaborate with the crew to complete jobs efficiently and on time
• Perform thorough cleanup at the end of each project

Requirements

• Prior experience in construction, remodeling, or mobile home repair/restoration required
• Must be comfortable with physically demanding labor and working in hot, confined, or elevated spaces (including crawl spaces and attics)
• Jack-of-all-trades mentality — willing to perform a wide variety of tasks
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
• Ability to read and follow basic job specifications or blueprints
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation and valid Florida driver’s license
• Clean background check and drug-free
• Experience working in mobile home communities is a plus
