EQUANS are looking for a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer working on our HMCTS contract at Guildford Crown Court - the courts that this role will cover will include Guildford Magistrates, Horsham Magistrates and Crawley Magistrates Courts. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
Equans provide technical and soft services to our client HMCTS across a large portfolio of buildings across the UK. As part of the service, we provide low voltage electrical maintenance and installation services, and because of business growth, we are recruiting for additional roles to provide these services for our customer.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and Equans processes and procedures. Activities will include:
Impact:
Working to high standard of Building Maintenance, we require a fully reliable and competent Electrician who can work on own initiative, within a team or oversee subcontractor’s, producing high quality reports on their findings and work. The role will involve being the face of Equans so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others including customers is required.
Complexity:
The successful candidate will have the ability to fault find and diagnose and rectify complex Electrical faults and issues unaided. Have an excellent knowledge of Electrical systems, which will enable the development of switching schedules and Safety Documentation prior to shutdowns. To plan and oversee electrical shutdowns to permit maintenance or testing.
