Mobile Phlebotomist

Position Overview:
As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for traveling to various locations such as patients' homes, doctors' offices, nursing homes, and laboratories to collect blood samples. Your role involves ensuring the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and delivery of blood samples for testing. A minimum of 2 years of experience in phlebotomy is required for this position.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in phlebotomy, with a demonstrated ability to perform blood draws independently.
• Proficiency in using a centrifuge for sample processing and familiarity with relevant safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage sample transportation effectively.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to travel to various locations as required.
• Certification or licensure as a phlebotomist is REQUIRED.
• CENTRIFUGE IS REQUIRED.

Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples from patients
- Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, and processing

- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
- Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with patients and healthcare staff
- Utilize organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage a busy schedule effectively
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Drive to various locations to perform phlebotomy services, requiring a valid driver's license
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure efficient processing of specimens
- Utilize clinical laboratory experience to enhance the quality of services provided
