Mobile Phlebotomist

Seeking highly motivated certified phlebotomist to service the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and Henderson. Ideal candidate will have experience with geriatric patients.

Compensation based on the eagerness of the phlebotomist. Must be available to work overnight into early morning hours. Reliable transportation is a must.

Summary

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient service through efficient specimen collection. Your core skills in phlebotomy, venipuncture will be essential in ensuring patient comfort and safety. Reporting to the healthcare team, you will utilize your knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to perform blood sampling accurately. Your premium skills in laboratory procedures will enhance your ability to support clinical needs, making you a vital asset in delivering exceptional patient care. You may be required to do alternation weekends on call.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws while adhering to proper specimen collection and processing protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures and maintain accurate documentation of all collected specimens.
