Mobile Phlebotomist PRN

We are currently seeking experienced PRN (as needed) Mobile Phlebotomists in Fallbrook CA to support our growing mobile service network.

Morning availability is required; candidates currently working evening or night shifts are preferred.

-Pay Ranges: $23.00 to $30.00 (depending on experience)

-Availability: Morning (between 6AM to 2PM as needed)

Job Summary
Mobile Phlebotomist PRN (as needed):

Provide high-quality blood collection services at various patient locations. This role involves traveling to patient sites to perform specimen collection with a focus on patient care, safety, and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory procedures, venipuncture, and patient service, ensuring efficient and compassionate care in a mobile setting. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to vital diagnostic processes in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collect blood samples using venipuncture and capillary techniques while maintaining strict adherence to aseptic procedures.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory processing, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and documentation.
  • Obtain vital signs and assess patient condition as needed, providing excellent patient care throughout the process.
  • Follow laboratory protocols and safety guidelines related to specimen collection, processing, and transport.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collections, including patient information and sample details.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing instructions and addressing any concerns or questions professionally.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained for safe use during collections.
  • Travel to various locations as scheduled, demonstrating flexibility and reliability in meeting appointment times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in phlebotomy, laboratory procedures, or clinical laboratory settings.
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques, specimen collection/processing, and blood sampling methods such as venipuncture.
  • Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care in diverse settings.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple appointments across different locations.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for mobile service delivery.
